ECU City continues to gain momentum
ECU City is continuing to gain momentum with construction of the 65,000 square metre campus reaching the midway point.
Since main construction works began just over 12 months ago, ECU City is rapidly transforming Perth’s cityscape and offering a glimpse at what it will bring to our students and the community.
Did you know?
Perth’s first fully comprehensive inner-city university campus will feature six state-of-the-art public performance venues, digital smart labs, a Moot Court, art and design studios and workshops, radio and film production studios, public galleries and event spaces, world-class teaching and learning facilities and much more.
ECU City will welcome a vibrant community of around 10,000 staff and students from semester one, 2026.
The campus will directly integrate with the Perth Busport, and the Perth Train Station is within a two minute walk, making it the most transport-accessible university in the State.
The $853m project is being delivered in a partnership between the Australian Government, Western Australian Government, and Edith Cowan University, and is the centrepiece of the $1.66b Perth City Deal.
